Memories of you
It all felt like a dream,
my tears fell down in endless streams
It was like dancing on air
How your hands brushed through my hair.
I miss those lips, so tempting and pure
It felt like a sweet intoxication without a cure.
Your eyes that lit up full of life,
are now glassy and tell a story of strife.
What's dead is dead and forever will be,
except my iternal love that never will be.
You were my life and a part of me.
Since you're gone, I cannot see.
The tears block my sight
as you take off in flight.
I miss the way you held me in your arms
how safe I felt, away from harm.
How you'd whisper in my ear.
Now all of that has disappeared.
I pluck rose petals, hoping I can forget
But even now, I haven't yet.
You're always on my mind and that is true.
And I will always forever love you.
