"Fine"
Every minute
Of every day
I think about you
And all the ways you’ve hurt me
You are the one person
I should have been able to trust without question
Your love should have been unconditional
And maybe in your own sick and twisted way its there
But
Every minute
Of every day
You and all the hurt
Lurks in my mind
Making me weary of everyone
Who wants me to believe they really care
In time wounds will heal
And I will be okay
Because if one thing you taught me
It was to pretend everything was fine
And I will be “fine” no matter who hurts me
Because the person I loved and trusted the most
Hurt me
And one day I know it will all work out
You will ask me to forgive
I will say I do
But
Ill never forget
