Dreams without limitations
unbound and unwound
onto this very piece of paper
I say that this letter
organized by lines
does not truly show
the clutter of emotions
You think of me as a
balanced structure
but friend
don't you see my foundation
crumbling?
This is not an easy fix
an incohesive working
hidden under a seemingly
perfect exterior
questions left unanswered
reoccuring thoughts
I left my heart in pieces
not bothering to fix the
growing cracks
I blame myself for these cracks
openings that allow
unrestrained thought
My mind is overflowing with
dreams and hopes
skepticism prevails
These words
I say to you
are the only way to mend
what I've held in too long.
