It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all..

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind - Ghandi

The arms that had held me so many times before
Wrapped around me for the last time
Neither of us spoke
Both scared at the reality of goodbye

I cried into your shoulder and realised
Tears mean nothing
They could never begin to measure
How much I love you, and how much I regret?

The years of our friendship
Were spent denying how we really felt
Too scared to hurt one another
Yet too scared to hurt ourselves

Now there’s no more chances to say
The things I should have said before
I love you
I miss you

You were my hardest goodbye

This is a quick poem about losing one of my best friends ever, Kreigan, left this year. He and I really liked each other, but knew we'd be leaving each other at the end of the year, and so nothing ever came of it. I love him to bits, and I'll never forget him. :)
