Run..
A storm is coming.
Ashen clouds billow as the smoke from Hell rises
Thunder tumbles out of Heaven and crashes to the brittle Earth
Let the candles die and the darkness consume me
I am not one to fear,
My heart is numb to tears
And you, my dear
Your rosen cheeks wet with sorrow,
Your blue eyes as clouded as this once-blue sky
You cannot stay here
So run, my love
Hide that pretty face, that you may not darken your mind with such an awful image
Turn away
And let me watch your yellow dress set like the sun on the horizon
May you be free from all this.
Then the rain shall fall from the black
And I will close my eyes
