Dreaming
Next to the subway train
On this platform
Empty of people
Stood this man
Blue eyes soft and staring
Tossing an orange in his hand
He stared at me
I stared at him
In the silence
He opened his mouth
But still no sound
I was caught in waves
Crashing through me
With dizzying fear
I saw the orange fall
Dropping, slowly
Falling with me
I met the floor
Said hello
And my face felt cold
On green cement
