The Bucket List
The day I die
I will not lie
I need not know
But before I go
I hope love will be present
I shan’t be alone
And smiles will be pleasant
Even after I’m long gone
I hope to fly a plane
Amongst the fluffy clouds
I plan to go insane
At a concert with music so loud
I’ll spend some romantic nights
In Greece, Paris and France
Underneath the northern lights
Stand in the rain and dance
To climb a mountain to the top
Or a pyramid in the hot sun
I’d hope the rush would never stop
The adventures have only begun
I’ll open a window
See beyond what I’ve seen
Ignore the calm meadow
To find an extravagant scene
Look me in the eyes
Can you not see?
These lines are a bunch of lies
Fancy things aren’t important to me
I’m easy to please, most things will do
But my life will have no meaning
If it’s not spent with you
