This isn't my favorite, but it's a good quote...

"The world needs Christians who don't tolerate the complacency of their own lives." - Crazy Love

Underneath an umbrella,
the smell of hand sanitizer lingers.
Melody, sound, music,
and the cries of bugs ring
through the air. Sun rays
penetrate my skin, though the shade
attempts to protect me.
The wind blows tiny ripples
on top of the water
as the soft “whirring” of cars
is heard in the distance.
Clouds drift slowly through the air,
so as not to miss anything important.
I see life all around me.
And in seeing life,
I see
peace.

For this piece, I had to observe something and write some images about it. I decided write about what I saw while I was working at a pool.
