Patchwork
In the endless swirl of color,
Bright pinks and warm shades.
Fly together in the patch work silk of another life time.
It calls to me from the echos of shadow,
Forth forbidden waves of gray.
Haze gently over my eyes,
Like the softness of sleep,
Holding me tenderly in it's naked arms.
Wrapping me in ribbons pull deep,
To the dungeons of the soul.
Let me view what you keep,
Behind closed doors and linen sheets.
