In my back yard"
I wish we could talk simply
Without being barred
I wish I had enough strength
To tell you how I feel
I wish I could swallow pride
To make this real
I'm deceiving
You: wide eyed and
Believing
You don't deserve me
I want to let you be
Without...
But I can't stand apart from you
I can't find the words that are true
Pilling my pieces in the corner
The things into the mirror I murmur
Leave me in my shambles
Shake off your tears and trembles
Take up spine
And save yourself
Cut the roots of strangling vine
