So out of reach
What am I supposed to do now?
You were so close at one point,
Now, you're so far away.
I'm young
Both physically and mentally
I'm naive,
I'll admit
We're so different
But I'm still intrigued
Finding someone else fascinating?
Awkward, at times.
Age is but a number, some people say
I live with a double standard
Those who are close to me
Do the same thing I do
Yet I never get mad at myself
I like the conversations we have
Even if they're all over the place
Constant communication
Random words strung together
Laughing at anything
Speaking our minds
Why'd you have to go?
You just left me here
Standing
Waiting until the next holiday
Quite sad.
