Jumbled Mess

In my head,
clear as river water,
a poem.
From head to hand,
the words scramble, rearrange,
a jumbled mess.
I try to cut, snip, rearrange again, but my words,
they fall apart,
crash to the floor
and disappear
with all the other jumbled messes.
When will I succeed?
