Carry On
Blackness crowds in.
Slowly but surely, the days are getting darker.
Slipping further and further away from once upon a time,
Slipping away from me.
Minds pulled apart,
Presences go unnoticed,
Crawling to the corners,
Giving up on life.
Shying away,
withdrawing from the light,
the light that so blinds you.
When was the last time we spoke?
I’m holding your hand but you’re pushing me away,
A tight grip wont help me.
I’m loosing the fight.
You’re giving in ,
I’m giving up,
We’re losing each other in this labyrinth.
We’re growing older,
We’re growing apart,
But that doesn’t mean our friendship has to end
Carry on
