Forever
A pair of eyes in the darkness stare back at me,
A face in the mirror behind me.
His cold breath brings goose bumps to my skin.
His even colder fingers navigate their way up my spine,
Leaving tingles in their place.
His lips inch closer and closer to my neck.
I smell a hint of strawberries on his breath,
It’s strangely comforting.
He pulls me closer asking me to be with him forever.
Who knows how long forever is.
How many nights will be spent like this?
How many nights will be spent… in his arms?
