Jealous of a Rose
I watched the rose go by floating in the air
It drifted over my head so steadily
I felt weak-kneed and unsteady by watching
I was jealous of the flower
I wanted to be in its place
To take its place
A beautiful flower it was
How I wish to have what it has
The adoration of people for being beautiful
At the same time having thorns to protect it
It was a free thing in my eyes
Even if it was torn to pieces, it was right
There was no reason for what I thought
But no matter what, I will be like this
Always envious of a rose
