Lightning flashes its wicked smile,
as thunder yells its anger.
Drops of rain run across the windowpane,
while trees sway suddenly.
Slick skies secretly plan their course of destruction.
Sad nearby clouds chase each other though charcoaled heavens.
Nighttime frowns when its time to go.
Then the sun peeks through to say hello.
