Oh, How I Wish
Oh, how I wish I would,
In spite of ugly battle scars,
Belong amongst the seas and stars.
Oh, how I wish one day,
To see my dreams in front of me,
Let go of these chains and be free.
Oh, how I wish they knew,
How far up stormy skies, I fly,
The kinds of hardships I defy.
Oh, how I wish I could,
Turn back the time that I once lost,
Undo mistakes at any cost.
Oh, how I wish they’d say,
Amongst them I blend in as one,
Before the daybreak, when I’m gone.
