Let Go
Let Go
Flying is impossible,
But we all ignore
The ground we are commended to.
We smile,
We nod and say,
“Don’t doubt me,”
And soar away.
We defy the very laws of
Science in our persistence and
Stubbornness.
We will all fly one day,
But why do we crash,
When we succeed?
There are doubts in our
Minds.
“We can’t do this.”
We can’t break those laws
Of flying we wrote.
“We can’t fly,” you know it’s
True.
Or so they’ve led you to
Believe
You can fly,
When you let go of your
Earthy connections.
Believe me,
One day,
You’ll soar.
