Your rough palm spread
smooth over the bed sheets
as you lean, casual
while the strings
of your heart quartet are strumming
and the air is tense with
expectation.

Apprehension carving lines
across your face
slight smile
and the taste of wanting.

This is so great! I looked at your work after seeing "Sunday Mornings",  which I actually liked much less than this. Your paint a perfect, clear picture of this and of how the subject feels with only a few lines. Love it!
