She didn't mean for it to happen.
She slipped, she tripped, she stumbled and fell
in love with a boy
and he wouldn't let her get away.
"I love you. I love you."
'I love you. I love you.'
"I love you. I love you."
'We need to talk.'
her heart began to race as blood rushed in her ears.
her stomach contorted into complicated knots
as her breath caught in her ribcage.
she didn't think it could happen.
how could this happen?
and why did it happen to me?
