Too Old To Be So Young
At just fifteen years of age
She held herself roughly
As an adult of 40 might
Her eyes were a somber amber
That never danced or played
She knew too much pain
Twelve years not an innocent
By one she was fatherless
By five she knew abandonment
By seven she stood tall
By nine she was going through the day
By eleven she was treated as a woman
That same year she took over her mtohers job
She did Everything her mother didn't
At fourteen she dicovered the razor
That same year she tried to die
By fifteen, she had no parents
She was wise beyond her years
She was too old to be so young
She was only fifteen
