Curbside Manner MAG
I am the troubled soul that spraypaints “No”
In the same block letters on the same city curbs, curbs you
Stumble over (WALK DON’T WALK),
Curbs you feel intimately toward, having hunched chin to palm
palm to elbow
elbow to bent knee
as if waiting for a Disneyland parade to marvel at
and instead you’re left with my denial
and to wonder what question
I’ve taken to answering
On curbs.
