Breathless, hopeful, waiting.
Thoughts of just one thing-
encountering of lips and lips,
most precious skin on skin.
Trembling in the silence,
both knowing what comes next.
But not knowing how to get there,
how to take that scary chance.
Then it happens in an instant,
a fleeting rip in time.
Everything slows down and
my head spins out stupid rhymes.
So I don't know how to say this
in less than all these words,
but I guess to say "I love you"
is the only way it works.

This is the story of our very first kiss, condensed into pretty words and silly rhymes. Take from it what you will, make of it what you please.
