Reality
Unspoken
(Better that way)
hidden from the youth
letting them discover it on their own
it is
a curtain to divide the window and the room
but a curtain is only so thick
only as strong as the seamstress,
only as powerful when its under control,
perhaps the purple velvet
a luscious cover for such simplistic glass
appears to be entrancing
naive hands pull the tassels
stronger than the curtain
it pulls easily
once you pull the curtain
you expect
you dream
you want
a kingdom of prepocessing beauty,
engulfed with ever blooming flowers,
and a sun to kiss your neck
a dynasty of love
and sugar coated smiles
but remember-
windows are clear
