Angels
I believe in angels
The touch of cotton candy lips
Whispers upon their breath
Quiet giggles behind sunshine.
Each one a summer day
Wrapping you up in milky robes
Placing hopes in dreams.
Tip-toeing through the Heavens
Sky-bound, whimsical,
Stardust blown off feather wings by wind
Swirling, gently sprinkling the earth.
This is how I know they are real
Cleverly hidden, but always there.
