I Remember
I Remember
I remember myself saying I loved him
Knowing he said it back
But I dont like how my feelings wont let you be in my past
He left on my 7th birthday without saying goodbye
I thought I was his little girl
Daddy you made me cry
He said he'd never leave me behind
I Remember
I remember him not saying Happy Birthday
Knowing I wasnt on his mind
He stared at me once and turned his back without a fight
I Remember
I remember he walked right past me and didnt tend to care
Well I ran after him knowing it wasnt fair
He pushed someone out of his way and that someone was me
Now everytime I question myself " What He Loves Me?"
I was seven, thought our family was great!
I guess I thought wrong, Daddy everyone makes mistakes
I was the one who forgave you and brought you back into my life
But your the dad who turned their back and got a new wife.
He's My Memory
