the Cloud Watcher
There is this palce I go
To be by myself
But today is different
Totally completely wholy entirely
For I am alone
I clib the hill
In search of the perfect spot
And I lie down
In the cool grass
The warm breeze in my hair
Loneliness in my veins
Existence in my arteries
Madness in my mind
I watch the clouds
As they flee
Abandoning me
As all things do
One remains - and that's when
I see it
You, us, the past
And then it happens
The future I glimpse
And I smile
No sooner than that
Does the heavenly body dissipate
Disintegrates into nothing
You're gone, we're over
The present reality
Crashes down upon me
The sky is falling
Crushing me beneath its
Burdensome weight
Gasping for air
Through the suffocation
And I am alone...
