Laila
My dear Laila,
Why do tears stain your lovely rose cheeks?
Why does your chin tremble so
And your eyes so bleak with despair?
Come,
Dry your tears,
And show me that brilliant smile of yours.
As I tuck this lovely flower,
But certainly not as lovely as you,
Behind your ear,
Throw off your robes of black,
Don on your purple dress,
And let us dance under the moonlit sky.
Oh,
Don't sob so!
Oncemore, we will dance under the moon together.
Oncemore.
Don't you know that two hearts intertwined,
Will forever remain so?
You will see me again,
And we will dance under the moonlit sky.
I promise.
