Marieanne
‘t is an ever fixed make that you have placed upon this soul
and time will never repent itself my dear,
time will never repent itself
for the both of you have so much in common
with your waning love of misery
but,
forgive me for this melancholy speech.
Surely those ears disserve more than this,
though ‘t is believed by all but humanity
–the truthfulness of inheritances through respect and not right.
So twisted it this thinning logic,
unable to withstand society’s strict rigidity,
that we must shatter hearts with unspoken silences
and tales of unnamed darknesses such as life.
You fail to breath for fear of dieing
and I fail to smile for fear of the light
that was never truly in those swirling orbs of yours
that rotate the deepest colour of grey
for I have lost the essence of things within.
