Into Despair

I am
Suffocating,
Mostly
Drowning into
Me.
The world I thought
I knew is now
Unfamiliar.
I was holding
All my power
At the tips of my fingers,
Vanity taking the better
Of me.
The rush,
The high
Vanished into thin
Air.
Engulfing me
In the remnants
Of my destroyed world.
It’s just that,
As I fall to my
Despair,
Things happen,
People change,
And
The World is not
What it
Used
To
Be.

Wow, the style made it look like you were falling, vey fitting, very expressive and visual. Nice job.
