My Destiny
I’ve had a rough life
No momma
No Daddy
But I’m alright
Abuse and drama everywhere
People smile in your face but they really don’t care
Try to play me like a game
It’s always the same
See, people stereotype girls like me
They say I will be nothing
Though nothing is not the word they use
When will these people learn that this is my life
So I get to choose
Too many haters walking around running their mouth about me
But I don’t worry because one day they’ll all see
I might not be beautiful or smart to them
But God created me so I am that and more to Him
All I have to do is pray
And God is sure to brighten my day
Everyone on Earth has a job
Haters hate- that’s why they’re called haters
Players play- that’s why they’re called players
But me- I just do what the Lord tells me
Because I know doing that will take me to heaven
My Destiny
