Wastes away
Melted ice and slush
Discovering at last
The true dinginess of
Human earth
But not all hope is lost
Exists a blossom of snow
A blossom of snow
To hold and treasure
To show one and show all
To admire
But be forewarned
Thou shall not
Become that blossom
Blossom of snow
for in its entirety
A completely different entity
Perhaps unknown to
People
No matter how deep
Of a hole dug
You who read this
Most absolutely
Cannot be planted
And develop
Into a blossom of snow
So say goodbye to
Dreams
Of being the beautiful
Edelweiss
Forever
