is the truth really the best?

Truth
It hurts
Time is said to be able to heal anything
But is that REALLY true?
It can heal a broken heart but can it heal scars
It can make you forgive but will it make you forget
Life gives you plenty of time
But will ever be enough
I don’t believe so
But prove me wrong
Because more than anything
I want to believe that time can even heal harsh truths
Because that’s what hurts the most
Being looked in the face
And told the TRUTH
Told you will never be good enough
That’s what hurts the most
Being told you’re under par
That’s what hurts the most
The truth hurts the most
Because you can forgive it
But you’ll never forget it
