Life Like an Ocean
my life is like the ocean.
calm, but restless.
predictable and spontaneous.
you can't contain me.
i'll flow from your controlling grasp.
i am transparent.
can't you see through my liquidity?
others pollute me with their
foul language and acts of deceit.
what was once a clear blue,
is now a murky gray.
i never cease to amaze,
never doing what you expect.
how can you trust something with more depth than you can see?

It was a decent poem until the last sentence, which made it absolutlely gorgeous. To be honest, the beginning comparisons to life and the ocean were a touch predictable, but the last sentence was beautiful. Good job. Run with stuff like your last sentence more often because it's GENIUS!
