Taken For Granted
I used to think
That my life would turn out alright
That everything would be perfect
Ya, not quite
My parents used to love me
And I loved them
Now all they do is yell and scream at me, whenever I talk to them
I used to think smiling
Was a natrual thing in life
Now I think it is a curse, that haunts me at night
My room used to be a warm safe haven that I loved to be in
Now whenever I walk in
I can feel my life cave in all over again
Back then it all seemed so perfect
I wonder what happened
I guess the only answer there is
Is that I took it all for granted
