Pressing Skin
On the window screen
My Palm Sweats
Shadows Fade
Across the snow
I see you there
Yet again
Behind gates
Invisible fences that I can't reach
Colds cheeks
Wind blows and passes
Through
I lay
Your presence still lingers
Asleep at night
The same pillows from that night
Dreams carry
Your pictures
Skipping along my mind
Dancing in the dark
Like firefly's
The shades cover
Slide past
Black and white stains
Old nails and burning wood
Paper scattered
Ashes and tears
If theres one thing I've learnt
Its
Whispers scream so much louder
Then words
Spoken sweet
Kisses in my ear
Pulsing on my back
Fallow my steps
I'll bring you back home
Again
Cringe at the sight of your past
Wonder at the clouds of
Your future
Floating on
On and on
To the next
It'll never stop
Unless you want it to,
Then I realize
That figure
It was me.
