Insignificant

Bless you, love, for you do shy away
from the tranquility of thoughts I hold so dear
from the easy breathing of
quantum physics,
the idea of alternate universes,
faced afraid with your own insignificance.
But never, love, have I felt more
insignificant
than in the presence of your ever shining sun
and the casual disregard
for the priority of my light.
