Pass Me By
Pass Me By
A light is on in the kitchen,
but I can't seem to get there.
I'm only walking forward, inch by endless inch.
A thick smog wraps around me,
and the days turn in one endless circle,
followed seasons and years,
we're so caught up in all of it,
that we never see time pass by
our windows.
One day
It will be much to late,
and we will regret
not watching time pass them by.
