Words Not War
If we talked
As much as we fought,
Peace would be ours.
If we would love
As much as we hate,
Hope would be ours.
If we had hope
As much as we gave up,
Success would be ours.
If we would work
As much as we sit,
The world would be huge.
If we ate an apple
For every candy bar,
Obesity wouldn’t exist.
If we recycled
As much as we throw away,
Global warming wouldn’t be here now.
Love, hope, work, and words could change the world.
It’s not too late.
