is this the introduction to your book? i love the title, and reading this really makes me wanna read your book-----its all intrigueing. Just a little advice: if its a poem, just write it in stanzas, it really sets the effect. Take the first 2 lines: you could write it like this
A bright young woman on her way/
On her way to riches and prosper/
but also death and despair
it makes readers pause between each line and it makes it seem more dramatic. You dont HAVE to take my advice, but it is a suggestion. Are you going to post your book on teenink? I'd love to read it!! :D
