Confrontation
Locked inside
behind my eyes
I hear a voice
that isn't mine.
Moaning, groaning,
under mental strain,
fading, slipping,
under dark terrain.
Falling, falling,
into the black,
never to surface,
should I head back?
Fighting, struggling,
my will giving way
under stark-raving madness,
my sanity decays.
Locked in siege of
fortified mind,
me or him,
one be bind.
