Killers
Climbing, climbing, climbing
Trying to get to the top
Never stopping for anything, even when they get there
They knock you down
Not bothering to look where you fell
To help you get up
Walking past you, they put on their masks
Hiding the true definition of what they are
Forgetting to take the masks off, even when in good company
To them, the outer shell is all that matters
Not the good that they have locked within them
The potential that they all have, to be the better version of themselves
Attacking those who dare cross their path
Shunning the weak and unimportant
It all comes naturally to them
At times it seems as though they have no compassion
No love, no feelings
Not even for those who are chosen
They don’t see you for whom and what you are
Only what you look like in their eyes
Worthless
Climbing, climbing, climbing
They never can satisfy their want to get to the top
Not even when they reach it
Always wanting to get higher
Nothing can stand in their way
They are the popular
