Betrayal: the Worst Sort of Pain
Wishing I knew who to trust.
Once upon a time I trusted my friends,
But lately I wonder often, “Do I have any?”
I say this because often do they betray me,
As though they wish to slay me.
In a way they do just that,
Because when they betray me they rip my heart apart!
It’s worse than ridicule or hate, betrayal is.
It hurts like nothing else.
I am sure of this…
