Mama Don't Want Me (Goodbye)
I waited for her to return,
But not once have I seen her.
Not once has Mama called or shown her face.
It’s as if she’s drifted off into space;
It’s like gravity quit workin’ and took her away.
But the truth is plain to see.
She don’t want me.
Never has, and never will.
But that’s all right.
No matter how she acted, I love her still.
I’m over the pain I used to feel,
And now it’s time to move on.
She made her choice and that’s okay.
I know that she’ll think of me for the rest of her days.
She might not love me, this is true.
But you just can’t forget what’s a part of you.
“So, Mama,
just know…
I ain’t goin’ to let your choices ruin my life.
I’ve cried many tears and hit many walls,
But I’m through denyin’ what’s plain to see…
Mama,
You don’t want me.
(Goodbye- forever)
From KJ,
Your one and only.
