Message
The bird sat
and waited
for it to be
seen.
Purring like a feline,
it fluffed its
snow-fallen feathers,
bitten and
tattered by the
cold.
The wind blew the leaves
off the tree
long
ago,
but the animal remained,
hushed by the ruckus of lies,
cursed by the
face of evil,
and loved by those
who prosper.
And while its message
fails to present itself,
we must know
that it needs to be
cared for
in order to
please
peace.
