Morning dew
The morning dew
Is slick under trodden foot prints
Treading easy, with every beat on cue
Steadily crying, crawling infants
Leaving road maps and Blue prints
Laying down foundation, gathering dew
Prism skies colliding to bring about day
The battlefield plagued with collage water color
End to end, frayed and afraid
Leaving trenches and dredges
Foot prints and lasting impressions
Forget to live, forget to take cover
As the acid rains down tears of rage
Collecting paths taken again and again
The infant, the innocent standing
Crippling and falling crawls the sage
Connecting the horizon with snow flurries
Treading easy, with every beat on cue
The morning dew
