the sower
can you hear the endless rattle of broken pieces?
her body is a musical instrument as she walks
linger on as the world darkens in only your eyes
she drags her feet behind her shattered limbs
waiting for someone to understand her burden
do you see her motionless chest?
no beating seems visable
for a broken heart is all that remains
shattered into microscopic pieces
save humpty dumpty?
no
she breaks as well as he does
no army, no bandage, no love
can fix this
and yet there he stands
the sower
with his needle and thread
waiting to patch her heart back together
a look of infautation among hollow eyes
