One stupid mistake
Was paid for with my life
Never should have done it
Should not have took that drink
Just thought it would be a fun night
Out with friends
It was only a party
Didn’t know it’d be my last
Why did I have to go and
Not listen to what I was told
Thinking this would never happen
To someone like me
All I can think now
As I lay here to die
Is how could I be so stupid
To drink and drive
