Alive
I wandered into the dark auditorium and saw Alive poised on the stage under a single spotlight.
She was a small, barefoot girl, with an air of confidence about her
As the music began, she started passionately moving around the stage, gracefully leaping and turning, letting herself go and be free.
Her eyes remained closed and her cheeks flushed.
Alive let her dancing express every word she couldn’t say.
I felt a new sense of freedom and inspiration as I backed out, without Alive realizing I was ever there.
