judgment day
My stomach twists and turns
As the butterflies take flight
As we get closer the mind gets ready for war
This is good for war is at hand
There’s no need to get warm
For the mind is ablaze
Butterflies settle down
I know it is time
Step out on the floor
People have judgmental stares
I feel their pounding looks
Beating like a drum
The drum for the battle, it’s going to start
I step on the mat
As the drums go silent
No more beating no more judgment
I hear the whistle
It starts the fight
Only one survivor
On my judgment night
